Senior Director, Product & Lifecycle Marketing, Laurel Road Digital Bank
Location: Hybrid/In office
The Senior Director, Product & Lifecycle Marketing will lead a talented team of product and growth marketers, with the ultimate goal of increasing customer lifetime value. This role will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and be responsible for developing and executing the marketing plan for the bank's new digital products as well as for the management of member journeys. This position will highly collaborate with Marketing, Product, Engineering and Data & Analytics teams on designing and implementing successful cross-sell strategies into our existing customer base.
Job Responsibilities
Lead Laurel Road's lifecycle marketing strategy, connecting deep member insight with marketing innovation to optimize Member activation, early satisfaction, loyalty & retention
Evaluate end-to-end member journeys and identify high-value actions and capabilities that capture opportunity to create consumer engagement, loyalty, and ultimately lifetime value
Lead go to market strategy across deposit and lending products collaborating closely with acquisition, product and member experience teams
Develop a data-driven member centric CRM strategy and approach, including defining KPIs, customer segmentation, and customer journeys
Partner with Data Science & Analytics to determine key leading drivers for retention, identify targets audiences key to product growth and inform segmentation strategies.
Create, execute, and continually optimize a data-informed testing plan. Forecast, measure and report on results of marketing efforts assessing results against specific metrics and size opportunities for scale
Lead strategic planning meetings with cross-functional partners and agencies.
Builds and leverages relationships with our top partners to influence their activities and encourage growth.
Recruits, motivates and develops a superior team. Provides direction, leadership and coaching to employees, creating a positive work environment and developing a career path to keep staff educated and motivated.
Adhere to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies.
Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Advanced degree and industry experience preferred.
10+ years' experience marketing and product experience with a proven track record of independently setting marketing strategy and delivering results with minimal supervision.
Excellent understanding of how to deliver "Best Practices" in marketing planning and customer analysis by utilizing direct marketing, digital marketing and upper-funnel activities to attract customers.
Strong knowledge of financial services where payments, digital lending, or other types of long-term financial engagements are the norm.
Have a deep understanding of consumer satisfaction and user experience in the digital world.
A broad set of marketing skills that include brand management, customer acquisition, digital marketing, strategic insights, innovation, and customer engagement
Well-developed analytical skills combined with the ability to utilize market and customer data to create targeted plans for growth within key industry segments.
Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills are necessary to effectively collaborate and convey goals and initiatives.
Proven ability to marshal internal and external constituencies through the power of their insights, their strategic ability, and their influencing and persuasion skills.
Understanding of graphic design, as well as the methods of promotions and advertising.
Proven ability to build, lead and manage teams.
Proven ability to oversee complex initiatives and drive them to a successful conclusion.
