Overview of Position:
The Administrative Assistant supports the Mission and Culture Department and provides senior level administrative support for the Territorial Mission and Culture Secretary. Under limited supervision this individual will handle complex duties, utilizing both discretion and sound judgment.
Responsibilities
As an Administrative Assistant your responsibilities include but are not limited to answering phone calls, preparing correspondence, ordering supplies, preparing materials related to various programs and events, newsletters, presentations, sermons and other office duties. The Administrative Assistant will also assist the Hispanic Ministries Chair, African Heritage Chair, Korean Ministries Chair, and the Department's Bureau Directors as requested.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3-5 years of related experience
- Must have strong skills in verbal and written communications
- Demonstrate above average inter-personal skills
- Be familiar with Salvation Army culture and language
- Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, & Word
- Detail oriented and organized
- Ability to work with a team and to work independently
- Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality
