Licensed Mental Health Therapist

The Behavioral Health Therapist will facilitate group and individual mental health counseling/therapy in alignment with evidenced-based practices and models. The Therapist will partner with persons served and their interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, monitor, and revise behavioral support plans and when requested provide mental health Counseling/Therapy. The Clinician is responsible to ensure that all behavioral health services support a person’s ability to achieve their vision for themselves.
Roles and responsibilities:
1. Conduct Client intake sessions
2. Assessments for Behavioral/Mental Health of the clients
3. Provide direct services and treatment plan.
4. Lead individuals, Family, Couples, and group Therapy
5. Demonstrate an understanding of patient needs when devising and implementing treatment. * Develop Individual Treatment Plans and Progress Reports
7. Proper client’s direct services documentation.
8. Participate in multidisciplinary teams to present cases for proper treatment.
9. Facilitate crisis intervention, Trauma Informed Approach.
10. Provides molding and supervision for direct care staff.
11. Incase of clients from Jail Division/Sex Offenders/Alcohol and drug abusers, and issues with legal systems provide Court testimony.
12. Min clients to be attended
13. Perform any other duty as required or demand
14. Achieve productivity goals as set.
Requirements
Requirements: Required:
a) Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work/ Counseling/ Psychology/Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
b) Experience:
C) Licensure: LSW/LMFT/LPC
D) State: Ohio
Requirements: Preferred
a) Education:
b) Experience: i) JSO/SUD scope of Practice
ii) Experience with assessing and diagnosing male adolescents
C) Licensure: LISW/LISW-S/LCSW/LICSW/LMFT/LMHC/LCPC/LPCC/ PsyD /LADC
D) State: Ohio
Any other requirements:
First Aid, CPR
CASOMB Certification
Valid Driving License
Bilingual English/ Spanish/Portuguese
Self Motivated, Self-started, go getter, desire to learn and keep updated
