Engineering Project Manager-Hybrid Full-time

Provide technical program leadership to lead the full lifecycle – Hardware and software product development. Must be well versed in current best practices and tools, to be able to apply that knowledge to plan, communicate and launch products. Must work with all stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals

Musts:
  • Strong software technical background, ability to sequence disparate programs together into an overall product/feature deliverable
  • In-depth knowledge of Project Management fundamentals. Proven track record in hardware/software integration and software development & test methodologies
  • Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously, Ability to effectively transition designs to in house and contract manufacturers
  • Strong knowledge of software engineering management, tools, and processes (project tracking/scheduling; document management; Static analysis, SW unit testing, requirements verification; issue/bug tracking; configuration management; integration/release testing, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational and leadership talents, communication skills, and systems thinking
  • 4+ years of technical program/project management experience focused on complex software delivery
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative, small team environment with little supervision
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and documentation skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary stakeholders
  • Nice to have experience at the full lifecycle Hardware/Software product launches in Communication / IOT
  • Ability to work in a startup environment – engaging with customers, sales, R&D , PLM teams – working collaboratively to drive customer outcomes.
  • Operating and thriving in Agile environments – establishing the right process and tools to create a repeatable product delivery process.
  • Strong attention to detail, be self-motivated and able to achieve results with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in change management and executing to product roadmaps
  • A demonstrated track record of creating and enacting long term plans aligned with a company’s vision and mission
  • Must be a US Person in accordance with United States immigration laws to be considered for this position
Nice to have: PMP or commensurate certification

Education: BS or MS in Engineering or related education.
