Responsibilities
- Obtain thorough working knowledge of all construction documents including drawings and specifications
- Monitor progress of work for compliance with contract documents
- Collaborate with the CM team, design consultants, construction teams, and owners
- Manage and distribute submittals/shop drawings and requests for information (RFIs). Post pertinent information to construction drawings
- Review and verify progress payments
- Coordinate special inspections
- Create a comprehensive log of daily construction activity, inspections, and reports
- Maintain and post current contract documents, digital and hard copy set
- Prepare meeting agendas and minutes
- Monitor and evaluate construction schedules
- Review and analyze change orders
- Minimum of 7 years of successful construction management experience in general building construction for public building facilities
- Procore proficiency a plus
- Ability to interface with client/owner to understand their needs and project scopes as well as coordinating end-users
- Strong communication and documentation skills with the ability to work independently and multi-task
- Bachelor's degree (Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture)
