Director Of Human Resources Full-time

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and practices
  • Analyze & enhance total rewards - compensation and benefits packages
  • Direct company wellness initiatives
  • Improve communications between teams and managers
  • Evaluate talent needs and oversee talent attraction efforts
  • Manage and allocate HR funds to appropriate initiatives
  • Engage with Department Leaders to provide HR guidance where appropriate
  • Develop and recommend changes for workflow improvements
  • Analyze trends and metrics, and recommend options for solving HR and Operations related matters
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll
  • Staying current with federal and state regulations and any changes
  • Analyze all HR aspects for acquisition opportunities
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
  • Degree in human resources management preferred and/or PHR or SPH and/or SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP
  • 10-years' experience in HR management
COMPETENCIES:
  • In-depth knowledge of HR-related laws, best practices, policies, and procedures
  • Proven people management experience

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Location can be hybrid between home and our office in Westerville, Ohio.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

This position manages and directly leads associates of the department, including hiring, development, performance management and discipline within company and department guidelines.
