Novaspect, Inc., an Emerson Impact Partner, the global leader of automation systems and solutions, is currently offering an opportunity for an Account Manager/Outside Sales Engineer for Process System Solutions (PSS) to join our team. In this role, you will be a profit improver whose partnership with customers will challenge customers to recognize the full benefit of Emerson and Novaspect solutions to increase customers' profits and exceed their business goals and objectives.

You will have a wide portfolio of Emerson's Automation Solutions Process Systems and Solutions Division, like the best-in-class, DeltaV Control Systems and complementary Services.

Understanding the Customer
  • Maintain a high degree of industry knowledge and awareness
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the customers' business, including their products and processes, markets served, key customers, industry dynamics that effect the customers' business and events that influence the customer's profits
  • Identify the customer's Critical Success Factors (CSF), Key Performance Indicators (KPI), and key initiatives in order to support development of account plans, sales strategies, and project justifications
  • Document quantifiable business results with sponsors and power sponsors
Manage the Sales Process
  • Identify customer Pain.
  • Build relationships with Power within customer organization.
  • Work with customers to understand the Value of our solution.
  • Develop a Vision for that solution
  • Document these elements through Collaboration with Sponsors and Power Sponsors.
  • Create a Compelling Reason to Act to ensure the highest probability for success.
  • Communicate and forecast using modern sales enablement tools like Salesforce CRM.
Requirements:

· Bachelors' degree in a Scientific/Technical discipline with Engineering preferred.

· Some experience working in a manufacturing environment or managing a manufacturing operation is desirable.

· Process control/automation experience preferred.

· Demonstrated results calling on middle level and upper level managers in process industries and/or manufacturing organizations.

Additional Requirements:

· Basic financial analysis capabilities

· Excellent presentation, verbal and written skills to effectively communicate

· Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

· Salesforce CRM experience desirable

Pay:

$114,000-$156,000; Bonus and Vehicle Reimbursement Program eligible
