Director Of Engineering Full-time

at GPAC Texas in Texas (Published at 31-10-2022)

I am partnered with a reputable, multi project construction engineering company looking to add a Director of Engineering with a passion to deliver excellence! This company works hard to ensure their projects are planned and managed to meet high expectations and exceed client goals. As their team continues to grow they are looking to add a Director of Engineering to the team.

Responsibilities of Director of Engineering
  • Give executive presentations to represent the company at meetings and public hearings relative to projects
  • Oversee ongoing projects
  • Assist in project production/coordinate with permitting agencies
  • Responsible for quality of engineering work preformed
  • Interacting and coordinating with other company engineers
  • Set and meet goals for the division and ensure projects are on schedule
  • Develop and mentor less experienced staff
  • Ensure quality is being met
Qualifications for Director of Engineering
  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management or Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Licensed as a PE (Professional Engineer)
  • Civil and Electrical Engineering experience
  • Great at math and analyzing
  • Public Speaking Skills
  • Steel and Concrete experience
  • 3 Years of telecom construction experience (Cell tower build out and rigging)- Preferred
  • 4 years Project Management Experience
  • Knowledge of computer systems including MS office, AutoCAD, LPILE, RISA3D, Caisson, Visual Analysis, and AllPile
