MARKETING PROJECT MANAGER
Cameron’s Coffee is hiring for a Marketing Project Manager to lead the company’s numerous graphics and packaging projects across multiple brands and private label.
CAMERON’S COFFEE
Cameron’s Coffee is a specialty coffee roastery based out of Shakopee, Minnesota with ~$90MM in annual revenue. The company is a subsidiary of Colombia-based Grupo Nutresa and employs ~120 people. Cameron’s is one of the fastest-growing brands in the growing coffee category, with a robust and loved portfolio of flavors, blends and roasts. Our specialty grade Arabica coffee is sourced from all over the world, and same-day roasted and packaged in our best-in-class roasting facility. Cameron’s Coffee manufactures the Cameron’s brand, as well as Private Label for a small number of select retailers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Marketing Project Manager will be responsible for:
Manage and deliver against multiple, often concurrent projects related to graphic and package design and execution: error free, on time, within budget, all while meeting or exceeding creative objectives and expectations
Work across functions to understand and intake digital project requests, gather requirements, define objectives, deliverables and delivery dates, plan resources and develop a clear and actionable project plan
Build strong working relationships with internal and supplier team members, establishing a role as a trusted resource and advisor
Efficiently and effectively manage day-to-day problems and communicate effectively in difficult and time sensitive situations. Understand when (and why) to escalate issues. Facilitate meetings, and ensure the team receives clear direction for next steps.
Possess or develop knowledge of creative project management software for various private labels and serve as liaison between Cameron’s cross-functional teams and private label design teams
Review and audit consistency of creative across channels
Coordinate with multiple third party vendors to coordinate design and production of packaging, marketing and sales materials
Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in the market; identifies needs for new products and services and makes recommendations to leadership.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field required
At least 2-3 years of project management experience in a fast-paced creative environment managing multiple projects simultaneously. Consumer packaged good experience a plus.
Experience working closely with design/creative teams; an understanding of the various specifications and processes for print and digital design production highly preferred
Experience managing design and creative process ensuring delivery of both high-quality and cost-effective outputs while upholding brand standards and acting as a brand steward
SKILLS NEEDED
Exceptional organizational skills. Ability to develop and manage timelines, juggle multiple projects, multitask, collaborate, and deliver against deadlines.
File and asset management in a shared server environment with strong understanding of required asset type by final deliverable
Able to work under tight deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain a positive and respectful attitude
Superior communication skills — proven ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and leaders
Strong analytical skills, able to translate data and market information into conclusions and actionable insights
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
