Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in media, brand building, and general management.
  • 5 years of experience working in a management capacity with responsibility profit and loss.
  • Experience as a classically trained marketer/brand builder.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in selling transformational ideas.
  • Ability to develop working relationships with key leaders at global organizations.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous environments, problem-solve, and scale across an organization and distributed team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
About the job

As the Global Client Lead of the Google Pod (Gpod) you will manage a global team which provides support digital advertisers in the Google Marketing industry. In this role, you will have an insider's view on how Google develops its own Marketing efforts, and you will be tasked with helping Google get the most from our own ad solutions.

In this role, you will partner and build relationships with key stakeholders in Google Marketing, such as executive leadership in Media Lab and across the Marketing organization. You will manage a global team of Account Executives and Account Managers. You will drive conversations with marketing executives and key stakeholders in order to accelerate Google Marketing’s growth and effectiveness via activation of their joint business plans.

At its core, Global Clients and Agency Solutions (GCAS) helps leading brands, trade bodies and marketing partners navigate this complexity so that they can continue to be the market makers who positively shape our industry. Responsibilities
  • Lead Google’s media strategy, provide thought leadership, and ensure productive client engagement across teams.
  • Develop relationships that allow for plans to be delivered with excellence. Build an organization that has the branding capabilities and skills necessary to develop and execute plans with excellence.
  • Lead the business planning process working with Finance and Operations.
  • Build partnerships and trusted relationships with executive decision-makers at the C-Suite level and be able to recommend holistic communications plans that drive business, brand equities, and ROI's.
