Job Summary:

As a Senior Accountant you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including full cycle accounting for a variety of businesses, financial statement preparation, budget preparation and building a collaborative partnership with our operations teams. Do you have a strong accounting background, possess that attention to detail, complete your tasks with great accuracy, and want to support our dynamic group of businesses? What you will do:
  • Process intercompany transactions, post financial transactions to ledgers, reconcile and balance accounts, prepare financial statements
  • Accurately analyze financial data and generate useful financial reports for the executive and management teams
  • Build a business partner relationship with operations teams allowing collaboration that results in improvement of process and financial reporting
  • Drive the annual budgeting process for the companies that you are responsible for
What you will need to be successful:
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in the hospitality/restaurant industry
  • Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
  • Be a forward-looking thinker who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
  • Advanced level interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including employees, managers, and vendors
Must have:
  • Bachelor's or associate degree or equivalent education and experience
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
Nice to have:
  • History of implementing best practice finance and accounting systems
  • High level of proficiency in computer skills and understanding of technology
