POSITION SUMMARY:

The marketing internship will support the marketing communications team. The ideal intern is enthusiastic and willing to provide creative ideas to help achieve Balchem's goals. Duties include data analysis, social media development, content writing, strategic discussions, market research and digital and live event coordination.

The internship will help you acquire marketing and communications skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in marketing and should be prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assist in targeted lead generation: Online via email and web marketing, and offline via event marketing and advertising within trade publications
• Be able to provide an update on all assigned tasks
• Collaborate with team members to strategize new ideas
• Responsible for the completion of any assigned tasks and projects

REQUIREMENTS:

• Currently enrolled in college at an accredited University or completed BA or BS in Marketing, Communications, English or Digital Media
• Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel
• Creative writing experience
• Relevant intern or employment experience in marketing or a related field
• Attention to detail is a must
