TRANSPORTATION OPERATIONS ANALYST
I. Context The Transportation Operations Analyst works in the Supply Chain area and reports directly to the Transportation Operations Manager. The role's objective is to control and monitor the transportation processes for Lumber, Cardboard, Forsac and Pulp subsidiaries, controlling and managing the services of suppliers.
II. Job Summary
ü Control the transportation process from ports, borders and warehouses
ü Monitor the status of cargo dispatches and picks up from ports and warehouses
ü Ensure the condition, care and maintenance of the cargo in trucks
ü Ensure compliance with the service of transportation providers
III. Responsibilities and Obligations
ü Operationally coordinate the logistics of cargo transportation from ports, borders and warehouses considering the planning and definitions of the area
ü Obtain port and border export documents from Supply USA Import Operations area, such as ETA1 and BL2
ü Update shipping information coming from Supply USA Import Operations area, such as ETA and MOD BL3 (transshipment)
ü Monitor carrier dispatches and customer cargo pick up from ports, and warehouses in accordance with port LFD and warehouse appointments
ü Monitor the return of empty containers by carriers and customers, based on information from the shipping and Project 44 websites
ü Ensure the coordination of appointments between carriers, customers' carriers and warehouses for cargo delivery/pick up from warehouses
ü Obtain Proof of Delivery confirming carrier deliveries at customers' location
ü Communicate appointments between carriers, customers and warehouses
ü Participate in regular meetings with carriers
ü Other tasks related to transportation processes and defined at the discretion of the Transportation Operations Manager
ü Measuring carrier performance in terms of:
2. Costs per kilometer
3. Costs per volume
2. Compliance with the return of empty containers to the shipping company within the agreed deadlines
3. Completion of batches dispatch in warehouses within the dates given by appointments
4. Compliance of sending "Proof of Delivery" confirmation of shipments
5. Compliance with quantitative and qualitative requirements of the fleet
6. Fulfillment of service times in routes and OD pairs
7. Compliance with cargo care in loading, unloading and transportation processes
8. Compliance with invoicing consistent with the service rendered

3. Accident rate
IV. Scope
ü The decisions made by the Transportation Operations Analyst refer exclusively to the responsibilities and duties described in this document, under the periodic and permanent supervision of the Transportation Operations Manager
ü Decisions made by the Transportation Operations Analyst must follow a standardized procedure agreed with the Transportation Operations Manager and must be backed up with quantitative and qualitative analysis
V. Working Conditions
Office work in face-to-face and remote mode, with possible visits to logistics operation centers
VI. Requirements
ü College Degree
ü 0-3 years of professional experience
ü Understanding of logistics, shipping, port and commercial processes
ü Fluent in English and Spanish
ü Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
