Long Home Products, a leader in the Home Improvement industry since 1945, is currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our amazing organization in our Corporate office located in Savage, MD.
This is a strategic and hands-on role that provides full-cycle Human Resources for our multiple entities.
The Human Resources Specialist oversees the general Human Resources and Payroll functions of our company and provides daily oversight of a wide spectrum of HR needs. The HRBP is responsible for reporting and presenting regularly to our executive management team to assess how effectively HR initiatives are enabling organizational objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee New Hire Orientation
Coordination and Enrollment of employee benefit packages
Conduct employee evaluations and exit interviews
Process Payroll in a timely manner
Policy development and implementation
Facilitate compliance with an employee handbook
Assist with company-related issues
Maintain and update employee files
Qualifications:
BA Degree in Human Resources, or a Degree in Human Resources and Payroll Certification preferred
3 years minimum experience processing payroll
5 years of Human Resources generalist experience
Strong knowledge of Labor Laws
