Construction Accounting Associate

• Manage contracts and required paperwork according to AIA standards including: Owner-contractor agreements, change orders, contractor's Release of Liens, invoicing clients according to AIA standards
• Coordinate with Project Managers for monthly AIA billings
• Payroll
• Handle AP and AR functions
• Cash management and recording banking and financial transactions
• Develop periodic reports for management and CPAs
• Bank reconciliation
• Assist with other business accounting functions as needed
• Purchasing, pricing and maintain subcontractors W9s & COI (workers comp) both new and expiring documents

Background Qualifications:

• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Good computer skills: MS Office including Excel and accounting software
• AIA billing standards and construction industry experience
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting
• Experience in Construction Accounting
