Vaco has partnered with a global publicly traded Fintech company in Denver looking for a remote Financial Reporting Senior Accountant to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, etc.) and the creation and review of financial reporting schedules
• Perform research on technical accounting issues, analyze complex balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Partner with investor relations, finance, legal, shared services, HR, and other departments for internal and external financial statements, SEC Reporting, and other related projects
• Participate in complex accounting, regulatory reporting, and other special projects as needed
• Assist in initiating, implementing and executing process improvements and controls

Qualifications:

• 3-6 years of public accounting experience and/or combination public accounting and industry experience with SEC reporting experience
• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Accounting; CPA or CPA track required
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX
• Technical accounting skills and ability to research various accounting issues
• Attention to detail and highly effective planning, organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills
