Job Description
Arcadis IBI Group’s Intelligence business requires a qualified task leader to join our toll collection and express lanes consulting practice. You will have the opportunity to guide the direction of major projects in the industry and apply your technical and creative skills to developing system requirements, supporting toll and transportation system procurements, deployments and operations. This position can be based in any city along the US East.

Job Description

This position can be based in any city along the US East.
Most of the things you’ll work on:
- Work with clients to present results of research to assist in toll technology and operations needs decision making
- Based on agreed decision develop technical, delivery and performance requirements for the procurement of tolling systems
- Research state-of-the-start systems and devices relating to the tolling and transportation technology sectors.
- Coordinate input from subject matter specialists into performance requirements.
- Review system proposals to support technical evaluation.
- Develop and review system documentation.
- Develop system transition concepts and review and approve transition plans.
- Review test plans, monitor testing and perform data analysis to determine compliance with project requirements.
You'll need to have:
- Bachelors’ degree in an engineering or science/data related discipline
- Familiarity with network and computer system design concepts
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the technology field with at least 2 working with Express Lanes toll systems including involvement in roadside and host systems
- Exposure to working with tolling business rules, including dynamic pricing and trip building
- Strong, effective technical writing, oral and listening communication skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to develop and review technical and commercial documentation
- Ability to adapt to changing needs, requirements, and priorities; lead and communicate to ensure work is performed in a coordinated manner
- Willing to travel to client sites as required, once travel to client sites is allowed and safe
- A valid driver’s license
