PURPOSE:
The Senior Accountant works closely with the corporate finance and senior leadership teams to help drive efficient and effective month-end close processes and reporting. As a key corporate finance team member, will also support the integration of newly acquired practices plus provide necessary information to deal and acquisition teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work closely with team members to manage and complete month-end close process
- Prepare monthly financial reports for management review
- Perform general ledger reconciliations for various financial accounts
- Perform monthly account, variance, and trend analysis
- Prepare cash management reporting and forecasting
- Provide accounting transition support to newly acquired practices.
- Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Continuously find ways to improve departmental quality through efficiencies, streamlining repetitive processes and utilizing technology
- Mentor junior members of the finance team
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; CPA designation is a plus
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in public accounting or a corporate environment
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and ability to read and understand legal documents
- Strong analytical and organizational skills. Must comprehend complex transactions and issues
- Ability to multi‐task, prioritize work, and maintain a high level of accuracy
- Thrives in a team environment while working with minimal direction
- Ability to communicate and interact confidently with the leadership team
- Works well under pressure, effectively handles change and demonstrates flexibility
- Private Equity experience a plus
- Multi-Site Healthcare experience a plus
