Lead Clinical Engineering Specialist, Days

Provides leadership for the service of assigned modalities so that assigned quality, productivity, teamwork, and customer service goals are met or exceeded. The incumbent's responsibilities include the repair, calibration, and maintenance of specialized equipment technologies, devices, instruments, and systems. Incumbent inspects, installs, and provides preventive maintenance of specialized equipment. Specialized equipment includes but is not limited to imaging devices/systems, anesthesia delivery systems, linear accelerators, steam sterilizers, and others as designated by Clinical Engineering leadership.
Required:
Required:
- With degree: Five years repair and maintenance of clinical equipment
- Without degree: Completion of Electronics or U.S. Military Biomedical equipment technology program and Five years repair and maintenance of clinical equipment
- Associate Degree See Experience
- One year as a team lead.
- Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician
- Certified Laboratory Equipment Specialist
- Certified Radiology Equipment Specialist
