Pay Range: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.

Air Squared Manufacturing, Inc. is an OEM manufacturer of scroll type compressors, vacuum pumps and expanders for the medical, aerospace, fuel cell and power generation industries. Air Squared offers exciting career opportunities working on projects including NASA MOXIE, Leading Electric and Autonomous Vehicle OEM, DOE Clean Energy initiatives ranging from nuclear fusion and the Advanced Research Projects Agency - Energy (ARPA-e), and other cutting-edge projects.

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to support the Manufacturing Processes by executing a wide range of engineering disciplines to support and improve manufacturing activities. This position is in-person for immediate hire.

Manufacturing Engineering Intern Job Responsibilities:

• Assembly Line Design
• Take existing products facing reliability, cost, manufacturability, quality, or performance limitations, and further developing the process to meet specific standards
• Create new processes to further support the quality and reliability of the product
• Analyze production process as a whole to identify bottlenecks and problem areas
• Work closely with quality to write and implement corrective actions
• Create documentation for processes conforming to ISO 9001 standard
• Train production employees on new and existing processes
• Design assembly work stations, tooling, and fixtures for production floor
• Convert product assembly from station build to a mixed model assembly line
• Statistical analysis
• Product and Process reliability
• Physical analysis methods
• Solid modeling (SolidWorks preferred)
• Test equipment and data acquisition software (LabView preferred)
• Project management
• Other responsibilities as required
• Regularly lift 20 lbs. of raw materials or machine parts with or without accommodation
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Manufacturing Engineering Intern Qualifications:

• MUST SUBMIT RESUME TO BE CONSIDERED
• Pursuing a BS in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering (required)
• Ability to work 40 hours per week from (required)
• Experience in a manufacturing engineering role (preferred)
• Experience in Solid Works (required)
• Test equipment and data acquisition software (LabView preferred)
• Knowledge of Basic Lean Methodologies (preferred)
• Experience with various Manufacturing processes (preferred)
• Employment with Air Squared is contingent on passing a statewide background check, drug screening (for substances illegal in the state of Colorado), and employment verification through E-Verify
