Currently working with a strong growth technology AI company that is looking for a Senior Accountant to support a seasoned Controller. Position will get exposure to a variety of corporate accounting functions, including month-end close, audit support, and various technical accounting areas. The Senior Accountant is responsible for providing support to the financial operations of the Company by performing accounting functions related to preparing and reviewing various financial transactions, general ledger balances, financial records, and reports in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This is the ideal role for someone has a strong foundational understanding of financial statements, and values strong internal controls.

Responsibilities
- Perform month-end close processes.
- Responsible for the general accounting function including Deferred Revenue, Sales and Use Tax, Accrual, Inventory, WIP, Finished Goods and CGS.
- Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances.
- Performing monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analyses.
- Provide schedules and documentation to support external audits, and tax consultant.
- Participate in process improvements and financial system automation.
- Create a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manual for accounting policy and regulations and roll out reconciliation procedures.
- Other assignments as needed.
Required Skills:
- BS/BA Accounting/Finance, CPA a plus.
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience with high growth medium-sized public company in the high-tech industry.
- Experience with ASC 842 and 606 a plus.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Experience working with NetSuite and Bill.Com is preferred .
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in performing all essential duties.
- Strong organizational skills & attention to detail. Motivated/proactive.
- Extensive knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills and enjoys working in a challenging fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Ability to meet deadlines and to work well under pressure.
