Looking for an after school job, come join the Harmony Learning Academy team.
We are a registered ministry looking to hire teaching and support staff. Must have a great love and patience for young children, as you teach them about God's love and grace.
Responsibilities
- Instruct children with spiritual development, and learning who God is.
- Instruct each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
- Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments
- Supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
- Track children?s progress and report to parents
- Communicate with parents daily
- Collaborate with other educators
- Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
Skills
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
- Excellent communication and instructional skills
- Ability to act as mediator between children
- Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.50 - $13.00 per hour
