The Global Health and Financial Solutions team is seeking a AWS Cloud Engineer to work as part of a team of cloud experts to develop solutions for AWS infrastructure operations, administration and monitoring . What you'll do:
Responsible for providing a platform and associated cloud infrastructure services leveraging Amazon Web S ervices to diverse application development teams working to modernize our customers payment systems.
Ensures that the infrastructure is operational.
Focus on results that provide continuous capability enhancements of the AWS infrastructure with minimal downtime.
Provide prompt response to emerging needs with optimized performance.
Ensures the appropriate and cost efficient cloud resources are allocated and resource utilization minimized.
What you'll need:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years, Master's degree with 3-5 years or Phd with 0-2 years of experience.
2 or more years of hands on experience with AWS.
2 or more years of experience with serverless AWS architecture.
2 or more years of hands on experience with RDS.
2 or more years of demonstrated experience automating AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
2 or more years of hands on experience building and maintaining fully automated DevSecOps pipelines.
Experience in building and maintaining automated monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure the system is operational.
Experience with Bash, GIT and Jenkins.
Experience with multiple programming languages such as Python and Groovy.
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Security clearance.
Preferred Experience
Knowledge and understanding of security engineering, system and network security, authentication and security protocols, cryptography, and application security.
AWS Associate level certifications such as SysOps Admin.
Knowledge and experience implementing AWS cloud infrastructure cost optimization solutions.
Experience with Jira and Confluence.
Experience working in government healthcare, especially Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, and organizational skills.
Should be deadline and closure oriented.
Strong persuasion, facilitation and influencing skills.
Should be self-driven.
Strong analytical skills.
Demonstrated ability to work with cross functional teams including senior level individuals.
Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment with varying priorities.
Research the industry trends and implement innovative cloud solutions to provide the best performance at the lowest cost.

Colorado Salary Maximum: $157,900
