Regional Account Executive Full-time

Open Dealer Exchange (ODE), an affiliate of Reynolds and Reynolds, is looking for a Regional Account Executive to join our team. The Regional Account Executive will focus on prospecting & closing automotive, RV & powersport dealer groups. This is a hunting role that prospects and sells ODE?s full product set to gain access and maximize ODE?s revenue opportunity. The ideal Regional Account Executive must demonstrate strong negotiation, interpersonal communication, and problem-solving skills, which will enhance long-term client relationships. The Regional Account Executive must have a thorough knowledge of ODE products and services, and must stay up to date on industry trends and how they may influence the customers? needs. The ideal candidate will also possess a background in business-to-business sales in the automotive industry. The position requires effective communication with C-Player decision makers. Strong work ethics are required to work independently in a fast paced, reward-based environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Proactively targets new credit business with 6+ locations nationally
  • Prospecting and Identify sales opportunities to increase the use of 700Credit within dealerships.
  • Proficient in all stages of the sales cycle: cold calling, appointment setting, needs analysis, high impact product demonstrations, cost comparisons, upselling, and closing.
  • Post-Sales Support, when necessary
  • Aids with retention and growth with assigned groups
  • Proactively targets vertical product solutions with assigned groups
  • Deliver high impact meetings and presentations to key dealership personnel focused on value and continued process improvement
  • Collaborates with key affiliate partners
Requirements:
  • Strong level of automotive industry knowledge and dealership processes
  • Proven track record engaging and closing large dealer groups
  • Ability to strategically manage and close complex sales opportunities
  • Proven experience in cold calling and developing an entry point with decision makers
  • Excellent phone, customer service, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel weekly with overnight stays as needed
