Position Summary


We are currently seeking a professional and experienced Customer Service Representative (?CSR?) to join our American Home Insurance Agency, Inc. (AHI) affiliate.


Responsibilities


Provide Responsive, Timely and Consultative Support for AHI?s Existing Customer Base: The CSR is expected to handle incoming customer service requests. Supporting customers? day-to-day needs is the priority and is most of the CSR?s activities. After the customer?s needs have been determined and addressed, the CSR is expected to update the interaction in the agency management system and confirm all contact information in the agency management system.


CSR?s are required to have a Property & Casualty License at date of hire.


CSR?s are expected to create cross-sell opportunities from incoming customer service requests by offering to assist the customer with adding additional policies.


Requirements


Education:
College Degree Preferred / High school diploma or equivalency required.


Experience:
Minimum two-years of insurance service experience or other professional services service experience deemed appropriate. Experience working in a professional business environment is mandatory.


Computer skills:
Experience with the Microsoft suite of products including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Meetings and other software products such as Zoom and Google Meets. It?s also critical that you are willing to learn and adapt to new computer products and services as needs arise.


Licenses or certifications required prior to start date:
The proper state insurance licenses and completion of the mandatory continuing education requirement as outlined by the applicable State Insurance Commissioner.


Subject to applicable laws, must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by start date under M.D.C. Holdings, Inc. vaccination mandate for all employees who will be working in the Corporate/Home Office at 4350 S. Monaco St. effective Nov. 1st, 2021.

Compensation

  • Estimated Annual Salary: $50,000 - $60,000
  • FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
  • Bonus Type: Year-End Discretionary
