Front Desk Concierge Full-time

Chevy Chase Club is seeking a Full-Time Front Desk Concierge who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. The Front Desk Concierge is the heartbeat of the Chevy Chase Club. They are responsible for all front desk hotel operations including reservations, check-ins, and check-outs. Additionally, they are responsible for event registrations, dining reservations, website management, clubhouse operations, general bookkeeping, and other concierge responsibilities while managing a very active phone board. This is the main point of contact for the Chevy Chase Club and they are an integral part of all club operations. This individual will handle all member and guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible, resolves member complaints, assists members and guests in all inquiries in connection with club and hotel operations.

The Club is offering a Full-time position. The Front Desk operates 7 days a week and we are seeking an individual with a flexible schedule who is able to work mornings, evenings, holidays, and weekends.

Chevy Chase Club is a distinctive social institution that, since 1892, has provided members, their families and guests with recreation and refuge from the stresses of daily life in the environs of our nation's capital. Chevy Chase Club is a 126 year old, member-owned club with 2,400 member families. Facilities include a main clubhouse with member dining and private function rooms, casual restaurant clubhouse, an 18-hole golf course, outdoor and indoor tennis courts; paddle tennis courts, fitness center, swimming pools, duckpin bowling lanes, ice rink, and overnight guest rooms and nature trail. Chevy Chase Club is a traditional full-service private country club open 365 days a year.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in a club, hotel or previous hospitality experience in a Front Desk operation.
  • Ability to read and work with computer systems
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal skills
  • Requires attention to detail, problem-solving ability and proficiency in hotel operating systems and/or Jonas systems
  • Good command of the English language
  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States
