Midwest ENT Centre located in St. Peters, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our practice in our Allergy Department. This is a Monday-Friday position with no nights or weekends and no on-call. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years general nursing experience, attention to detail, highly organized and have the ability to work independently as well as a team player with leadership skills.
The position responsibilities are maintaining an aseptic environment for patient care, safely and accurately performing MQT allergy testing and administering daily allergy injections. The candidate should have the ability to mix patient allergy serums, assess patients during testing and injections and serve as an intermediary between the patient and physician. He/she should also provide consistent patient education to achieve positive outcomes in immunotherapy as well as, serve as a medical resource for other members of the office team.
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to, biohazard management, ordering antigen and medical supplies for the department and financial charges and payments.
