JOB SUMMARY: An Assembler 2 has the ability to interpret assembly procedures, assembly drawings, mechanical drawings and part lists to assemble products adhering to Best Manufacturing Practices
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties
- Able to use basic electronic measurement devices, typical manufacturing tools, assembly fixtures and hand tools
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions from documented specification drawings and established procedures
- Build and test basic products to specifications while meeting established quality guidelines
- Properly use tools and fixtures to prevent damage/scrap of parts and production down time
- Complete assigned jobs per established budget
- Ability to wire bond/solder
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: High School or Equivalent
- Experience Years: 1-3 years
- Experience Type: Basic electro-mechanical assembly
- OR Equivalent combination of education and experience
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Manufacturing Floor Based
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Able to sit at work station/microscope 8+ hours per day
Education
Preferred- High School or better
- GED or better
Skills
Preferred- Soldering
