The Daycare Academy in Bozeman, MT is looking for one lead teacher to join our 11 person strong team. We are located on 16th Avenue. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and hard-working.

Abilities

*Creating, developing, and doing lessons and activities with the children throughout the day to benefit their learning in some way. *Lifting, assisting with hygiene and cleaning the children and cleaning the surrounding area. *A fast paced environment and you must always be on your toes, providing adequate supervision for each and every child. *Evaluations on child development and assessments. *Cleaning and maintaining a clean and safe work environment *Light meal and snack preparation *Gardening *A lead teacher is responsible for the academic, social-emotional growth and development of children in their care who are toddler and preschool aged children. The primary function of lead teachers is to work with parents, administrators and other teachers to improve students' experience and meet teaching objectives. Additionally, lead teachers plan, evaluate and improve the physical environment of the classroom to create opportunities that meet the changing needs of the developing child. *This is not a complete list in any way!

Qualifications

*A minimum of 1 year experience in an early childhood program REQUIERD *MUST BE A LEVEL 3 ON PRACTICIONER REGISTRY and current on the Practitioner registry or have the ability to do so *Must have Infant and child CPR and First Aid or Will need to become Infant and child CPR and First Aid certified within 30 days of hire, complete 20 hours of training per year, will need to pass background and CPS checks.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $18.00 - $19.00/hour.
