As a Community Driver, you?re responsible for transporting our residents to a variety of locations and ensuring that their ride with you is as comfortable as possible.

What Cascades of Sugarland Ridge looks for in a Community Driver:

• Must be at least 21 years old and if operating a large bus of sixteen or more passengers, must have a commercial driver?s license (CDL)

• Previous experience working with seniors preferred
• Reliable transportation and dependable when it comes to showing up on time
• Compassionate individuals with a positive attitude, willing to offer physical assistance as needed

• Effective communicator who connects with staff, residents and their families

• Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills

What you can expect to do as a Community Driver for Cascades of Sugarland Ridge:

• Transport residents to and from various locations, i.e., medical appointments, stores, banks, scenic drives and social events

• Perform or assist in routine preventive maintenance procedures on the vehicle as recommended by the manufacturer
• Establish effective relationships with residents, family members and staff Inform the Life
• Is subject to work weekends, holidays and varying shifts
• Promote the mission, values and beliefs of Cascades of Sugarland Ridge
