REGULATORY LABELING SPECIALIST

The person selected for this position will:

  • Gain a thorough understanding of the EPA Label Review Manual to be knowledgeable about EPA label requirements
  • Create U.S. product labels for federal and state submissions in collaboration with colleagues;
  • Maintain a high standard of label accuracy and timeliness to support clients? product registrations with US EPA and states;
  • Proactively identify and correct errors in labels to prevent potential compliance issues;
  • Conduct quality reviews and proofing of clients? labels prior to printing;
  • Coordinate with clients? graphics labeling team to ensure accurate and timely reviews of printer?s proof labels;
  • In coordination with colleagues, edit product labels as needed for approval by EPA, states and/or clients;
  • Create and maintain label records in company label databases for access and use by WRA employees;
  • Ensure a timely and accurate completion of each label document request;
  • Maintain current awareness of, and ensure compliance with evolving EPA label requirements;
  • Share relevant knowledge, insights and experience with colleagues;
  • Position requires 1-2 years of experience preparing chemical product labels, technical data sheets, pharmaceutical product labels, and/or product safety data sheets. Other related experience will be considered.
  • Position requires advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat PDF docs.
  • Associate degree required; bachelor?s degree is ideal but not required
  • Interest in agricultural crops production is beneficial.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
