Compensation Analyst Full-time

**THIS POSITION IS ELIGIBLE TO WORK REMOTELY FROM ANYWHERE IN THE UNITED STATES** Guides the process of updating job descriptions throughout the company to accurately reflect essential functions, job requirements, and a logical progression within the job family. Evaluates jobs for grade placement purposes and makes recommendations. Responsible for survey participation planning, submission of data and analysis of survey results. Provides day-to-day advice on compensation decisions related to new hires, promotions, and merit increases. Performs analysis for special compensation projects, leads projects of medium complexity, and ensures compliance. Essential Functions:
  • Collaborates with managers companywide to evaluate their business needs and guides them in the process of updating job descriptions
  • Reviews, revises or creates job descriptions to accurately reflect essential functions, job requirements, and logical progression within the job family
  • Performs market pricing, analyzes internal comparisons and provides grade placement recommendations
  • Communicates job evaluation results to managers and answers questions
  • Participates in salary surveys by reviewing job matches and independently preparing data for submission
  • Provides day-to-day consultation companywide on compensation decisions related to new hires, job changes, and salary adjustments
  • Performs analysis for special compensation projects and creates training materials
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor?s degree in business or related field or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Two years of experience in compensation
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong knowledge of compensation terminology, salary surveys, and reporting analysis
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to elicit relevant information and make recommendations
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
Per Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the hiring range for this position for Colorado based team members is $63,000.00 - 80,000.00. Hiring range for other locations may vary.
