Construction Carpenter

As a full-time carpenter with Gores Construction, Inc., you will be joining a highly skilled and trained team of professionals. We are seeking someone who pays close attention to detail, is hard-working, attentive, and service-oriented. You will be part of a team of positive and productive individuals who are focused on providing the highest industry standard of work to our clients with each project.
Carpenters construct and repair building frameworks and structures - such as wall assemblies, decks, stairways, doorframes, and water damaged framing and sheathing ? made from wood and other materials. Carpenters also install siding, windows and doors.
Competitive pay starting at $19-$25 per hour DOE.
What You?ll Do:
-Perform Journeyman level carpentry work
-Install structures and fixtures; such as windows, doors and decks
-Measure, cut and/or shape wood, plastic and other materials
-Construct building frameworks including walls, floors, roofs and deck framing
-Inspect and replace damaged framework and other structures and fixtures
-Follow OSHA and company safety rules and regulations
-Inspect work for accuracy and quality
-Use power tools and hand tools to conduct repairs and construct building components
-Work from ladders, scaffolding and pump jacks
-Perform other duties as assigned
What You?ll Bring
-3+ experience in general carpentry work
-Be able to use power tools for the installation of siding and trim
-Must own standard hand tools and power tools (drill and skill saw)
-Must have reliable transportation to work
Additional Information
- Wage $19-$25/hr depending on experience
-We pay 100% medical coverage after 90 days of employment
-PTO and year-round employment
-All applicants must pass a pre-employment drug screening, and background check.
