Part Time Tutor Reading/Math for Sylvan
at Sylvan Learning of Murphy Texas in Texas (Published at 05-08-2022)
No lesson planning, grading or parent meeting...Looking for 2-3 hr. commitment of 2 - 6 days after 3:30pm.
Sylvan Learning Centers are the industry leaders in providing supplemental education to children in pre-K through 12th grade. We provide individualized instruction in Comprehension, Reading, English, Writing, Math and Study Skills. We also offer ACT and SAT Test Prep.

Requirements:
Hold a associate or bachelor's or master degree.
Able to teach Math/Language Arts and study skills program for middle school or high school level.
Skills and Qualities necessary:
Enjoy working with kids of all ages.
Strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task.
Teach using Sylvan based programs.
Direct and motivate students during instruction.
Reward students for successful work
Evaluate and document student progress
Communicate student needs to our Educational Team
Develop rapport with students and establish a fun, engaging learning environment
Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching and Sylvan.
