Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for handling complex and multi-functional project in the Customer Solutions & Recovery space. These projects will enable United to deliver tools and technology to improve the customer experience during delays and cancellations. This work tends to cross many IT and business lines so requires coordination and influence
  • Status updates: handle communication to all groups including working team, collaborators, peripheral teams and executive sponsors. Create updates and deliver updates when appropriate
  • Carries out key aspects of projects and programs by supporting the entire digital product lifecycle, including writing detailed business requirements; participating in agile rituals; analyzing data to ensure product features are aligned with objectives; working with user experience (UX) to ensure prototypes ensure story intent; working with development (IT) and testing (QA) teams to understand the boundaries of a story; supplying to the overall definition of strategy and scope, including working with business partners to understand the goals; and identifying and sharing opportunities for improvement across product and process
  • Financials: put together budget, get approvals from business and IT collaborators, build reason, submit accurate monthly forecasts, handle the budget
  • Track small to medium-sized projects from conceptualization to completion, including helping to create project roadmaps, project plans and requirements documentation

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration
  • 2-5 IT and/or business experience, or any equivalent combination of experience, education and/or training
  • Technical Expertise - Involves demonstrating a commitment to increasing knowledge and skills in current technical/functional area
  • Integrity and Trust - Involves being widely trusted, being seen as a direct, truthful individual
  • Teamwork - Involves working well in a collaborative setting, supporting work team by volunteering for and completing assignments

  • Partners with the Business - Acts as valued partner to the business, develops relationships with the customer
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
