Medical Billing Specialist

We are actively seeking skilled, compassionate, and motivated Billing Specialist to join our dynamic team.
Our Billers are responsible for maximizing revenue and cash flow by validating ICD and CPT codes, performing charge entries, following up on outstanding A/R, including resolution of denials, and generating effective written appeals to carriers to maximize reimbursement on incorrectly denied claims.
What will you do?
- Charge entry
- Coding review
- Denials
- Claims follow up to include patient and insurance, as well as payment posting
- Reconcile all posted monies
- Ensure all incoming payments are posted timely
- Review and resolve all reported posting issues
What do you need to be?
- A problem solver
- Adept in technology
- Detail oriented and organized
- Great communicator
- Good in fast past environments
What do you need to have?
- Experience with electronic medical records (Epic preferred)
- 2 years of experience in medical billing
- Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
