Information Technology Services Executive Communications & Eminence Manager
Deloitte's Information Technology Services (ITS) organization is seeking a skillful strategist, collaborative communicator, and agile advisor to help lead ITS as it grows and transforms in exciting new directions. What you'll do:
As a member of the Deloitte US Information Technology Services (ITS) Executive Communications & Eminence team, you will:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive internal and external communication strategies for priority internal stakeholders, including the Deloitte US Chief Information Officer (CIO) and other ITS leaders.
  • Deliver polished written communications, including the ability to weave storytelling and human-centered, inclusive language into messaging to personalize the narrative and capture Deloitte's unique culture and values.
  • Build a strong relationship and understanding of the CIO's style, voice, and preferences.
  • Simplify and translate strategic priorities, performance, philosophy and industry trends into coherent stories and messages in an authentic voice of the CIO that resonates with specific audiences.
  • Serve as trusted advisor to US OCIO Executive Communications & Eminence Leader and Office of CIO Leader on communications and engagement strategies.
  • Support technology crisis communications and alert the practice to urgent technology matters
  • Collaborate with teams within US and Global ITS organizations and align with Deloitte's marketing and internal communications guidance.
  • Project a strong executive presence with the ability to present ideas, make recommendations, provide rationale and business cases, and advise executives and IT professionals on communications
  • Manage multi-faceted projects, including coordinating and managing several projects simultaneously
  • Respond to and follow-up with requests and questions, making important connections as needed for our internal clients and colleagues.

Required Qualifications:
  • Communications professional with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience
  • A Bachelor's degree (preferably in Communications, English, Public Relations, or Journalism) is required

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven success in developing and executing internal and external communications strategy and communications plans for a large business, preferably in professional services

  • Experience in successfully managing and delivering sensitive, crisis, and executive communications requests in a large-scale corporate environment preferred

  • Ability to work in a matrixed environment and build trusted relationships across a diverse group of stakeholders

Work environment
  • Remote work is permitted, office location or hybrid is also available
  • Minimal travel required, anticipated to be about 2 times per year typically for only 1-2 days
  • Some overtime or weekends may be required.
  • Coverage for and by other ITS communications team members during PTO or other out-of-office is expected.
