Escape In Time is expanding and opening TWO new escape rooms soon! We are looking for a full-time employee available immediately to work set hours EVERY Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for 40 hours each week (See shifts for details & minimum requirements). Please note: this is not a temporary/seasonal position, please only apply is you are available the hours we are hiring for.

Madison's only fully immersive Escape Room complex uses professional theme-park builders and artists to provide the Midwest's top Escape Rooms. We are looking for high-energy applicants that can offer great customer service along with the ability to work well with a team!

Below are a few of the main tasks required from our "Mission Recruits"

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greeting and checking in customers upon arrival.
• Providing information to guests regarding booking details, room information, etc...
• Selling gift certificates.
• Maintaining a clean, orderly work environment, and disinfecting in between guests.
• Providing guests with rules, orientations, room intros and explaining their goals for their adventure.
• Resetting rooms after each play.
• Fixing minor broken props and decor.
• Monitoring and assisting guests by providing clues and guidance throughout their game over a hands-free intercom.
• Booking appointments, and handling customer issues over the phone and through email.

COVID PROTOCOLS:

• We are safer than most places!
• Hand Sanitizer and N95 Masks are provided for free.
• Our desks are equipped with Sneeze Guards.
• Cleaning procedures are performed in between guests.
• We practice 6? Social Distancing, signs and stickers are there to guide our employees and guests. Stanchions and barriers are in place.
• Contactless bookings and check-ins/outs! Walk-ins discouraged at this time.
• Vaccination Incentive Bonus given to anyone not yet vaccinated, but willing to get both COVID-19 vaccines, plus the booster & provide proof of vaccination (2 weeks waiting period required after final vaccination).

What we're looking for:

• Are you able to commit to work all 4 shifts each week? We need our candidate to work each day we?re open & on a committed, regular basis: EVERY Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (see details under "Shift Availabilities")
• Are you experienced in customer service including answering calls, emails, and face-to-face interaction?
• Do you have any sales experience?
• Do you have an outgoing, energetic personality?
• Are you able to follow checklists and proper procedures?
• Are you able to efficiently learn new software and are you familiar with apple products?
• Are you able to crawl, stand, sit, bend, and lift over 25 lbs?
• Have you used an electric drill, screwdriver, or other handheld tools? If not, want to learn?
• Do you have your high school diploma or GED? And are you at least 18 years old?
• Do you have reliable transportation, other than the bus? Our shifts are occasionally scheduled past midnight on Fridays/Saturdays, and the west-side bus transfer only runs until 10pm - So you MUST either have your own car or be able to get a ride from someone you trust (Ubers and Taxis are not suitable choices on a long-term basis).

MANDATORY SHIFTS AVAILABILITIES (Looking for candidates with little to no conflicts):

• Thursday (full shift) 12:00pm ? 9:45pm (9.75 hrs) - may extend to include early arrival at 11:15am for weekly inventory
• Friday (full shift) 12:00pm ? 9:45pm (9.75 hrs) - may extend to 11:45pm in busy months
• Saturday (full shift) 10:45am ? 9:45pm (11.0 hrs) - may extend to 11:45pm in busy months
• Sunday (full-shift) 10:45am - 7:45pm (9.0 hrs)

We are looking for the right candidate(s) to work, this would be a set schedule each week:

• Full-time shifts Th-Sun: up to 40.00 hrs per week, no overtime.
• (Note: we are closed every Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday and are not offering any hours on those days.)

ATTIRE: Wearing futuristic costumes, temporary tattoos and high fashion makeup is required - an edgy style with brightly colored hair or wigs is a plus!

HEALTH INSURANCE REIMBURSEMENT: Will reimburse up to $200 per month on a single individual health insurance plan (must provide own insurance & statements for reimbursement).

PAID BENEFITS: Full-time employees may begin accruing Paid Time Off and Paid Sick Days, after 1st 90 days of employment.
