Title: Account Manager

Department: Marketing & Sales Division 1

Status: Exempt

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM

SUMMARY:

Function: Creates and maintains customer accounts within Company.

. Requirements:


REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S. of Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or any other related field or B.A.) from four-year college or university, M.B.A. is a plus.
  • Preferable three years of direct sales experience in the U.S. electronic, pharmaceutical industry.
  • Preferable several years engineering experience within a semiconductor fab or semiconductor materials/equipment supplier.
  • Preferable experience/knowledge of transportation/import/export.
  • Familiar with basic computer OS and software such as Microsoft Office, Data analysis by excel file.

REQUIRED PERSONAL SKILLS:

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited information exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

DUTIES:

1. Supports Marketing & Sales Manager in carrying out the Marketing & Sales goals (sales targets and profit) of the company.

2. Maintains inventory levels assigned by the customer and coordinates with internal stakeholders to meet the target

3. Works with customers to determine their product needs.

4. Works with internal divisions and other TOK group companies to introduce products to customers and support/coordinate R&D activity.

5. Collects and communicates marketing information to Manager and General Manager of Marketing & Sales.

6. Arranges and oversees deliveries of sample products to customers. Support customer supply line with other departments.

7. Reports customer sample evaluation results to internal divisions and Marketing & Sales Manager.

8. Establishes pricing levels for all new and existing products with Marketing & Sales Manager.

9. Provides accurate monthly customer forecast to Material Planning.

10. Coordinates activities with internal department (from ordering to manufacturing to delivery).

11. Works with customers and internal departments to resolve customer issues and concerns.

12. Plans for the build-up of consignment inventory in coordination with the Material Planner, examines the customer?s purchase orders, and manages the inventory.

13. Performs additional duties as needed.

Additional Duties (as a part of Trade Show Exhibition management)

14. Attends trade shows to promote Company products and image.

15. Plans and coordinates exhibition related activities with General Manager of Marketing & Sales.

SUPERVISION:
Receives: Direct supervision is provided by the Department Manager. (Manger /Deputy General Manager). Completed work is reviewed for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with the established guidelines.

Driver?s License required.

Traveling is required to visit clients.
