Kids C.A.R.E. is looking for a Lead Teacher for 10 students ranging from ages 6-10. (1st through 5th grade). There will be an assistant teacher present in the classroom for your daily assistance. We teach our students based on their individual ability level, so we do require plenty of one-on-one learning/tutoring. The capacity on the classroom is 10 students.
Objective: The vision and purpose of Kids C.A.R.E is to provide safe and affordable educational support for families unable to able to obtain cultural, developmental and educational support within our community. Our goal is to strengthen comprehensive learning objectives by providing innovative learning resources and academic support. Children and families will be provided with cultural appropriate learning styles that will allow them to be compatible with curricula from all communities, not just their own.
Job Description: To plan, organize, and present instruction and instructional environments that help students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their educational and social development in multiple grade levels.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
? Be able to lead teaching exercises for multiple grade levels simultaneously.
? Provides an environment in which each child has a positive, nurturing relationship with caring adults by encouraging a climate that is inviting, respectful, supportive, inclusive, and flexible.
? Works collaboratively with the families and significant adults in the lives of their students by improving communication and collaboration between the school and the home and community.
? Create a progressive environment for students by using a variety of methods to assess what each student has learned by using multiple indicators to evaluate student progress.
? Helps students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills by encouraging students to ask questions, think creatively, and draw conclusions.
? Demonstrate preparation and skill in working with students from diverse cultural, economic and ability backgrounds.
? Participate in appropriate professional activities and trainings.
? Participate in classroom devotion and meditation, encouraging children to know, to love and to serve God

? B.A/B.S degree in teaching from an accredited institution or related field teaching
? Experience in Project Based Learning preferred
? Experience in Multi-age Teaching preferred
? Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
? Must have the ability and proven ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis.
? Maintain professional educational and training requirements of school and state of Georgia.
? Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
Physical Requirements: Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, operate a computer, hand-held learning devices and other office equipment, reach with hands and arms, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $2,500.00 - $3,000.00 per month
