Job Description

The PepsiCo Investor Relations team is a finance function that reports into the Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer. The function focuses on analyzing and communicating PepsiCo?s long-term strategy and results to stakeholders while also managing the outreach process and feedback loop between senior management and stakeholders. The team also provides an external stakeholder point of view across functions within PepsiCo and continuously analyzes PepsiCo?s financial performance versus it?s peer set.
Job Description:
The Investor Relations Manager will support PepsiCo?s Global Investor Relations Program and reports into the SVP of Investor Relations. You will provide support for the quarterly earnings process, prepare management and investor presentations and perform peer benchmarking/analysis.
Responsibilities include:

  • Support the quarterly earnings cycle - involves detailed quarterly analysis/briefing of financial results and cross-functional collaboration to ensure that earnings deliverables, such as the financial press release, conference calls and events, are met

  • Support investor outreach program on a quarterly basis

  • Lead quarterly peer benchmarking analyses and provide key competitive insights - track and maintain key financial metrics for peers and monitor/notify team on key sector/market news/events

  • Analyze and prepare total shareholder return and valuation analyses for PEP and peer group

  • Develop detailed knowledge of valuation drivers for the company, the sector and peers

  • Construct internal/external presentation materials as determined by SVP of IR

  • Support SVP of IR on special projects for CEO / CFO

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 5+ years of equity research, investment banking or other relevant financial experience

  • MBA, CFA or CPA a plus
  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Solid financial and accounting understanding of the company, the peer group and capital markets

  • Strong communication, writing and financial modelling skills with an ability to simplify/synthesize large amounts of data and detail

  • Proactive in anticipating team needs and has flexibility with daily work schedule (must start workday by 7:00 AM Monday-Friday)

  • Bloomberg knowledge a plus
