Department Details
A close-knit team of analysts who have multiple years of experience and are able to provided ample assistance with training and onboarding of new hires. The ideal candidate should have a clinical background and, or medical coding or billing; and must have attention to detail.
Job Summary
Creates Coverage Analyses (CAs) for all studies that involve human subjects research to ensure compliance with laws, rules and regulations for coding and billing, including review of study protocols and budgets originating with Pharma partners, the NCI Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP) and Sanford Investigator-Initiated Research. Assists in the creation of internal budgets and study budget negotiations. Provides quality assurance checks for externally completed Coverage Analyses. Assists Research IT with completion of patent study calendar builds within the Sanford Research Clinical Trial Management System, Velos. Presents approved Coverage Analysis to Sanford Research Business Compliance Team for review and approval. In addition, reviews research claims billed through the electronic health records system to ensure consistency with approved coverage analyses.
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree required.
Minimum of two years experience in clinical research, coding or clinical trial billing preferred.
