Product Manager, Medical Network

Position Overview

The Medical Network team is looking for a Product Manager to set and execute the strategy for maintaining, stabilizing and grow our Medical Network Clearinghouses, which supports billions of revenue cycle transactions annually. You will work with internal and external partners to stabilize and enhance the applications and systems that support all transactions that flow through the Change Healthcare medical network systems, ensure operational excellence and contribute to achieving business objectives around growth and profitability. What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

• Maintain the product roadmap, cascading to business objectives for multiple organizations within Change Healthcare
• Prioritize features and defects for releases
• Work closely with engineering; accountable for quality of users stories and other product management deliverables
• Lead the build and maintenance of the team backlog (user stories, defects, and enablers)
• Understand the scope and business implications of technical decisions and enablers, providing input on decisions and sequencing of technical enablers
• Actively participate in all delivery ceremonies
• Partner with operational teams to improve products and solve / mitigate issues; document product operations to facilitate excellent client service experiences
• Define operational stability / scalability requirements and partner with engineering to deliver platform improvements that meet these requirements
• Lead primary and secondary customer and market research, developing a deep understanding of customer needs, market opportunities, emerging technology/trends, competitive landscape, and competitor strategies
• Support validation of product concepts or ideas, establishing and getting support for the vision and approach
• Define the stakeholder problem to be solved and value delivered, and how the product affects other stakeholders within the healthcare ecosystem
• Build and maintain portfolio and product business models, including sales, costs, expected return and pricing approach
• Establish and maintain relationships across Change Healthcare, including sales, account management, marketing, partner management, and Network Solutions.

What are the requirements needed for this position?

• 3-5 years? experience in product management

• Experience in digital health/healthcare IT and/or with provider RCM and EDI transactions a plus

• Bachelor?s Degree or Equivalent Experience

What critical skills are needed for you to consider someone for this position?

• Success developing and scaling new products or in a startup environment preferred

• Use customer and business insights to build and evangelize a customer-centered vision and strategy

• Fluent in product management and agile delivery methods

• Can take big, complex goals and break them into discrete and actionable projects and initiatives

How much should I expect to travel?

• 10%
• Employees in roles that require travel will need to be able to qualify for a company credit card or be able to use their own personal credit card for travel expenses and submit for reimbursement

Colorado Residents Only:

The base pay range for Colorado residents is $86,925.00 - $160,125.00 plus any relevant incentive pay programs that may be aligned to the role. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your base pay, Change Healthcare offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: Health, dental and vision plans; wellness program; health savings account; flexible spending accounts; 401(k) retirement plan; life insurance; short-term and long-term disability insurance; Employee Assistance Program; PTO; tuition reimbursement; and employee-paid critical illness and accident insurance.
