Driver- Must be compassionate, caring, respectable and responsible. Drivers provide the transportation of clients to and from hospitals, convalescent facilities, dialysis centers, rehabilitation centers, medical offices and their private residences in a safe, secure and professional manner. Drivers are to aid clients with entry and departure from the NEMT vehicle. Drivers are to be attentive and assertive to client needs while in company of clients. Drivers are to follow all rules and laws of Wisconsin traffic. There is no eating, drinking or smoking in the vehicle. No weapons allowed.

Requirements:

• Must have smartphone to use scheduling software
• Drivers may set their own schedule, we ask for 2 early starts (between 6:30 and 8 am) and 2 evenings (until 7 pm) each week at minimum
• Must have previous customer service experience.

• Must possess a valid Driver?s License

• Must have a clean driving record: this is required by our partners

• Must have a great work history with a track record of being a reliable responsible individual

• Must have a high school diploma or GED

• Must be calm and levelheaded in stressful situations

• Must be passionate about helping people

• Must possess good communication skills

• A familiarity with various city streets and highways in the state of Wisconsin

• First Aid/CPR certification a plus but not required (we can train and certify)

• Must submit to a background check (criminal, drug and driver?s license)

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Transport clients in company vehicles in a safe and professional manner

• Effective communication with dispatch regarding scheduling and any concerns

• Must be able to perform CPR/First Aid

• Maintain a professional image and attitude

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All occupants of the vehicle are required to wear a mask. Vehicles are equipped with sanitation stations and are sanitized routinely.

• Van driver: 1 year (Preferred)
