The Chief Technology Office (CTO) provides solutions to guide technology across the firm globally, removing inefficiencies and streamlining how we deliver quality solutions. We're continuing to evolve from building next-gen platforms to guiding architectures that unlock their capabilities, automating how we take code from inception to production. We're focused on optimizing how apps are designed for the future, targeting solutions that are portable across multi-cloud platforms to stay resilient, scalable and maintainable. The CTO will drive Modern Engineering Practices across the firm and provide the pathway for technologist to improve their speed, quality and application development practices.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Define current state and target state Integration Architecture (REST, Data Extracts/Loads) for the ServiceNow platform and Automation capabilities and ensure interoperability and scalability across different technology stacks.

  • Working as a member of the Core Engineering team, assess, design, and implement the processes and configuration standards for current and future ServiceNow capabilities

  • Working with Product/Process/Engineering leads, to implement Integration and Core engineering solutions to reduce developer friction, develop and encourage use of re-usable component library, develop framework constructs while maintain platform integrity and control standards

  • Effective cross-functional leadership skills in working with engineering and operational teams.

  • Drive initiatives to identify, optimize and automate Integration touch points (REST, Messaging, Data Extracts) to deliver secure, scalable and reliable IT infrastructure.

  • Ensure enterprise ITSM and automation architecture support and is cohesive with Infrastructure, security, application, information and integration architectures.

  • Other duties as assigned.
  • 10+ years of experience in designing and implementing ServiceNow core solutions in development and or infrastructure organizations
  • ServiceNow certifications/experience in ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, GRC, HR, CRM
  • Information Architecture - ServiceNow Common Services Data structures a big plus
  • ServiceNow custom application/portal experience
  • REST APIs: ServiceNow Scripted APIs, Table APIs including bulk data loads and extracts
  • ServiceNow Performance Tuning
  • Ability to "think big" and challenge conventional wisdom regarding technology refresh and hype
  • Demonstrated ability to build consensus among many stakeholders
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and willing to take principled bets on new technology
  • Deep understanding of cloud technologies, services and solutions
