We provide a wide range of training solutions that transform individuals? lives for the better and enable employers to develop their teams. For example we help women that have had career breaks to return to work with confidence, or young people that have found themselves stuck in roles they no longer want to do to get better jobs.
We are looking for an individual to join our small team in a sales and marketing role. Initially, they will have responsibility for responding to sales inquiries that we receive from our website, by arranging consultations that are face-to-face, over Zoom or telephone. There is plenty of scope to develop outside that role ? for example improve our use of social media etc to raise our profile.
Ideally, we?re looking for someone who can become part of the fabric of the business and end up running it as a partner. If you want to learn how to operate and grow a business, this is your opportunity.
We are aiming to provide a flexible work environment, with excellent work-life balance. After initial training, you can work from home much of the time if you like.
About you
You will have sales experience selling to consumers and possibly SME businesses, supported by good written and verbal communication skills
You have a consultative style, building rapport and trust with people
Open-minded and curious, you put yourself into the shoes of others
Your life experience shows determination and stamina
In addition, you are computer-literate - we expect that you can use Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel well. You know what CRM is.
You have a disciplined approach to sales calls, proposals and closing
Serious about personal and professional development, you may have training in a recognized consultative sales method such as Sandler
About the role
We receive a flow of inquiries that need to be qualified, and if there is an opportunity, closed.
The Role holder will establish a trusted advisor relationship with prospects. The main behaviours that matter most to us are:
- Respond quickly to inquiries to ?strike while the iron is hot?
- Use of considerate questioning to identify prospective students? compelling emotional reasons for seeking personal development ? their ?pain?.
- Disciplined qualification of opportunities and timely follow up
Secondary parts of the role are to participate in marketing activities, such as planning and executing campaigns, contributing to material development
About the location
During a three-month probation, you will work from the training centre between agreed hours, while you are trained, coached, and obtain practical experience.
Once you are consistently demonstrating the required behaviours and skills, you will be free to work flexibly.
About money
When you join, you will be on a training salary at the lower end of the salary range. After training your pay plan will include sales incentives
