Software Project Manager

The Insurance Center is currently searching for a candidate with these qualities to join our team as a Software Project Manager. The Software Project Manager is responsible for troubleshooting client software related requests and providing ongoing support and maintenance for existing clients.
The Software Project Manager role requires a high level of organization with strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize workload based on ever-changing business needs. This position interacts with Sales team, client contacts and operations service team.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the client to research & resolve enrollment & eligibility discrepancies.
- Trains users on software updates via phone, remote support and/or training guides.
- Update employee enrollments.
- Create & maintain training guides.
- Help update and maintain benefit administration platform benefit and structure changes.
- Provide communication and education to the internal and external customers on the mechanics and processes of onboarding to include the processing of timelines, software functionality and plan design review.
- Provide systematic status updates to the client and/or internal team members regarding enrollment status.
- Perform testing on benefit administration platform prior to deployment to proactively discover potential errors.
Required Qualifications:
Associates Degree and/or two to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
IT-related experience preferred with strong analytical & problem-solving skills. Tech savvy with working knowledge of Microsoft Office, internet navigation and databases.
Demonstrated ability to develop, maintain and foster relationships at all levels of the organization
Successful experience coordinating activities and tasks of a variety of resources towards a specific business goal. Self-motivated and able to resolve issues independently
Availability and willingness for occasional travel to outside client, meeting or conference requiring a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Willingness to secure WI Life, Health & Accident Insurance License.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency and experience with benefit administration platforms and presentation technologies
Knowledge of employee benefits and tax advantaged benefit programs
Previous experience in Benefits Administration, working with insurance brokers and/or carriers or in the health insurance industry
