WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
Summary
This role identifies, develops, and evaluates clinical quality. Provides direct oversight to AVP Clinical Quality for quality improvement initiatives, Clinical Documentation Specialist for focus quality reviews, and Social Services Support for social service performance. Serves as subject matter expert on all regulatory matters.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Provides support, resource, knowledge, advice and/or counsel to leadership at campus and clinical team in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the campus.
2. Partners with Divisional Vice President and clinical team to provide direction and recommendations regarding regulatory compliance and to implement system-wide clinical programs, policies, and procedures.
3. Develop company quality improvement initiatives in collaboration with senior clinical leaders.
4. Collaborates with senior executives on companywide quality recognition.
5. Construct, train, and mentor on quality improvement initiatives.
6. Coaches AVP Clinical Quality on improvement of select focus campus outcomes.
7. Directs Clinical Documentation Specialist on focus campus reviews and outcome improvement.
8. Collaborates with operations and Social Service Support on social service performance
9. Establishes a vision and strategic plan for quality improvement to promote Clinical Excellence.
10. Leads clinical onboarding in collaboration with Vice President Clinical Programs and Education.
11. Participates in collaborative programs to gain recognition as the premier provider of Clinical Excellence for Senior Living.
12. Collaborate with senior clinical leadership on the development of Clinical Pillar Goals.
13. Drive the focus of Pillar Period goals with clinical leadership to ensure initiatives are met.
14. Direction of quality improvement from high-risk mock survey outcomes.
15. Assists with development and implementation of company policies and procedures.
16. Participates in facility surveys made by authorized government agencies as requested.
17. Develops relationships with regulatory agencies, and professional organizations.
18. Keeps current with CMS guidelines and regulations and current standards of practice.
19. Assists the Quality Assessment & Assurance Committee in developing and implementing appropriate plans of action to correct identified deficiencies.
20. Partners with clinical leaders the development and implementation of written policies and procedures that set-up standards for clinical practices and compliance; giving specific guidance to management, professional staff and individual departments as appropriate.
21. Leads and maintains a consistent management reporting process that provides the system with timely and relevant information on all aspects of project issues and needs.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Qualifications:
- Associate, Diploma, B.S. or M.S. in Nursing, from an accredited college or university.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Current unencumbered Registered Nurse license in state of practice.
- Valid CPR certification
- Wound Care Certification (WCC)
- Infection Control Preventionist
Experience:
- Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in assisted living, senior living or long-term care or other health care industry including experience with Medicare/Medicaid services.
- Five (5) to seven (7) years in a leadership, management role.
- Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in a multi-facility experience preferred.
- Exemplary computer skills that include knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
