The Graham Healthcare Group is looking for a Manager of Clinical Applications that will be responsible to plan, develop, and manage resources, procedures, and protocols to ensure proper utilization of the company?s Electronic Medical Record systems. Responsibilities also include managing the EMR support team and operational practice that contribute to long-term excellence as well as managing the EMR vendor and coordinating project plans for all integrated systems, software applications, and initiatives related to the EMR.
Manager of Clinical Applications Job Responsibilities:
Manage overall accountability for Homecare Homebase and other EMR systems
Directly manage the EMR team, assigning clear tasks and objectives, and establishing clear measurables for monitoring results versus objectives
Manage EMR vendor relationship, ensuring tracking of initiatives and fulfillment of contractual obligations
Develop and monitor EMR team KPIs
Create process recommendations and support implementation to drive efficiency, productivity, financial, and business objectives
Develop strong relationships with clinical and business leaders to drive the evaluation and implementation of value-added business systems and processes
Develop and engage EMR team members by creating a motivating work environment that recognizes and rewards strong performance
Assist in managing and maintaining all clinical, revenue cycle, and payroll aspects of the EMR
Provides ongoing troubleshooting, support, and maintenance of applications, including 24/7 on call coverage as required
Ensure change management process for EMR changes is followed and coordinate EMR releases, providing essential communication and education to the end user community
Plan and implement EMR platform integrations
Communicate with leadership any optimizations to improve the workflow and efficiency of the agencies
Coordinate with project management or perform project management process for projects including EMR.
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor?s degree required
Minimum of five years of experience with Home Care Home Base or similar home health / hospice EMR
Project Management, HIMSS and/or LEAN Six Sigma Certification preferred
Experience managing a team of direct reports and vendors required
Minimum of four years healthcare-related experience required, including 3 years of experience with change management, process redesign, and relationship management
