Retail Sales Associate/Cashier

Opening in 2017, Alpine Alternative Healing Company is a Colorado based company selling products in the natural Wellness industry. We are dedicated to providing safe, clean, tested products to consumers as an alternative with herbal well-being products. We currently have retail locations in Colorado, Oregon, and now introducing Hawaii. We have a staff of 15 people. We do business as Clean Kratom Wellness Center.
We are looking for a Retail Sales Representative to provide excellent customer service. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the store?s profitability. Looking for an individual to work between 16 - 24 hours, 2 - 3 workdays a week for an approximate 8 hour shift from 9:45am till 5:00pm with a 1 hour lunch break between 1pm and 2pm.
Responsibilities
- Punctuality and reliability to open and close of paramount importance
- Greet and direct customers
- Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
- Answer customers? questions about specific products/services
- Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing
- Cross-sell products
- Ensure product stays fully stocked for front of shop
- Stocking of product per standards
- Manage returns or complaints
- Coordinate with the Shop Manager to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times)
- Inform customers about discounts and special offers
- Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services
Skills
- Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate or similar role
- Some familiarity with wellness related products is a plus.
- Understanding of the retail sales process
- Familiarity with consumer behavior principles
- Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
- Basic math skills
- Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
- Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- High school degree
